Press Release June 2021
KINTO UK Limited have secured a four-year deal with Government Facilities Service Ltd (GFSL), part of Ministry of Justice, to update their fleet of cars, LCVs and HGVs.
In 2020, Gov Facility Services Limited (GFSL), who provide facility maintenance services to prisons across the South of England, went to market to overhaul their fleet. Having historically used daily rental vehicles, a cost exercise was carried out with a number of leasing providers to look at the benefits, as well as savings, to using a full fleet management and leasing provision over Daily Rental.
Taking part in the exercise, Paul Moon, Public Sector Development Manager at KINTO UK, provided GFSL with invaluable consultative support throughout every step of the process. This included a full fleet review, bespoke vehicle recommendation lists based on their specific requirements, working closely with leading industry providers, and achieving significant savings. Paul said: “I am delighted to be working with GFSL on the delivery of their new fleet, it has been a pleasure to complete the exercise to ensure the fleet is fit for purpose and delivers not only on cost but each vehicle role and requirements. We have also begun to look at how GFSL can introduce electric vehicles into their fleet, supporting them on their aspirations to reduce carbon output.
Stephen Carter, Commercial Manager at GFSL said: “The approach KINTO delivered was true collaboration. The knowledge and support provided by Paul Moon and his wider team was outstanding and their proposal demonstrated value for money which resulted in a compliant GFSL contract being awarded. GFSL are very much looking forward to working with KINTO to roll out the new fleet and developing our relationship”
Jennifer Davis, Sales Director at KINTO UK, said the company was “extremely proud” to have been awarded the contract by GFSL.
“The Public Sector is a hugely important area of business for us, and the award highlights our proven expertise within the public and not-for-profit sectors- something we are immensely pleased to have built up over many years now. Knowing we will be helping GFSL procure and operate a cost-effective fleet thanks to the wonderful consultative work by our team is very satisfying. We look forward to working closely with the GFSL moving forward.’
