Salary Sacrifice

What is salary sacrifice?

Salary sacrifice works similarly to a pension or cycle-to-work scheme. Employees sacrifice a fixed sum of their gross salary each month in exchange for a car and all the benefits normally reserved for company car drivers. Salary sacrifice schemes are best suited to low-CO2 cars, which attract the least benefit in kind (BIK), making them a fantastic choice for businesses looking to lower their carbon footprint.

KINTO’s salary sacrifice scheme is extremely popular with both business owners and employees, due to the wide range of benefits it brings.

Why choose KINTO?

At KINTO, we offer an extremely configurable scheme. There are over 90 configurable features that we can adapt to meet your needs. For example, businesses can choose to retain or split NI savings with employees or put eco restrictions on vehicle choices to help with carbon reduction plans. In addition, our in-house portal gives us full flexibility to develop new features, so we can integrate our platform with other third-party benefit providers to keep all employee benefits in one location.

Plus, to ensure the scheme setup is as smooth as possible for everyone involved, our omnichannel onboarding process includes a mix of physical and virtual sessions. As well as online webinars, we can arrange an in-person driver’s day at your company’s site, bringing a selection of vehicles from multiple brands to be test-driven throughout the day.
