Funding

Finding the right funding for your fleet

At KINTO, we understand the importance of finding the right funding solution for your vehicles, which is why we offer a wide range of funding options for our customers.

When it comes to funding your vehicles, mixing methods can help save money. As a fleet management specialist, we use our expertise to identify the optimum form of funding and management for your fleet, both operationally and commercially.

What funding methods are available?

  • Contract Hire

Business Contract Hire is the most popular way for businesses to acquire new company vehicles without owning them, as it offers complete flexibility.

The contract term and mileage are decided upfront, depending on your business circumstances. You simply pay an initial rental fee and then drive away in a brand-new vehicle.

Servicing and maintenance packages can also be added to the monthly cost, saving you time, hassle, and unexpected costs during your contract.

  • Contract Purchase

Contract Purchase is a deferred purchase agreement in which you make an initial agreed payment, followed by regular fixed monthly amounts.

At the end of the contract, you will make a final balloon payment, and vehicle ownership passes to your business.
  • Finance Lease

If vehicle damage and inconsistent mileage have meant costly end-of-term penalties in the past, Finance Lease is a smart choice for your business.

You can choose to pay the total cost of the vehicle, including interest, over an agreed contract term or pay a lower monthly rental with a final balloon payment based on the anticipated resale value.

Throughout the lease, the vehicle remains the property of the leasing company, and there aren’t any end-of-contract damages or over-mileage charges.

  • Sale and Leaseback

Sale and Leaseback lets you sell a business vehicle to KINTO, leasing it back for an agreed monthly fee under Contract Hire or Finance Lease agreement.

This allows you to free up any capital that was previously tied up in vehicles owned by the business and benefit from the advantages of a leasing contract.

Servicing and maintenance packages can also be added to the monthly cost, saving you time, hassle, and unexpected costs during your contract.

  • Salary Sacrifice

Salary sacrifice schemes are a fantastic addition to your employee benefits, as they provide National Insurance savings for your business and support your organisation’s sustainability goals.

  • Outright Purchase

Organisations that choose to buy their vehicles outright, using company funds or alternative credit lines, enjoy greater flexibility over their fleet.

This is the main reason I would recommend KINTO."

  • “KINTO have the ability to support us as we continue to further improve upon our green agenda.”

    Senior Reward Manager - INCORA

"At Incora, our green agenda is important to us so we look at ways of reducing our carbon footprint across our organisation. Having a green company car scheme supports this. We offer PHEV and EVs only to employees who are eligible for the scheme, we also help them get set up by installing charge points at their homes and as well as providing workplace charging.

We work with KINTO, as it was clear that they shared our values and have the ability to support us as we continue to further improve upon our green agenda."

  • “KINTO has been key to delivering our projects successfully.”

Service Provider & Commercial Fleet Contracts Manager - Molson Coors

“We have built a strong partnership between KINTO and Molson Coors CTS over many years. KINTO fully understand the demands of our commercial fleet and we both share a common goal of reducing our vehicles off road. With a fleet of 200+ mobile engineers we are always looking for ways of reducing unnecessary downtime in our fleet. Our vans are mobile workshops, if they are off the road, it’s hard for our engineers to carry out their day job. KINTO and their supply partners are working with us to explore new opportunities to keep us moving, we are currently looking into the possibility of using mobile maintenance and servicing for our fleet, this will reduce the need to take our vans off the road. KINTO has a wealth of knowledge and expertise to advise us of all the changes in the Commercial vehicle market, we have called upon this knowledge to carry out some major projects. We have recently re branded all our fleet and currently looking to make some improvements in the manual handling devices in the vans. KINTO has been key to delivering these projects successfully."
