Stress-free travel with KINTO

Planning a trip abroad and looking to take your company car with you? You can now request your foreign travel documentation through our online portal, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

KINTO will provide the necessary documents when travelling abroad

  • Letter of Authority

This document names the driver(s) authorised to drive while abroad and the dates of travel covered.

  • Bail Bond/Green Card

This is necessary outside of the EU. Always check the entry documents required for the country you’re travelling to.

  • European Accident Statement

This is a standard form available throughout Europe.

  • Vehicle on Hire Certificate ( VE103B )

This is for hired/leased motor vehicles being taken abroad and is valid for one year from issue.

A fee will be required for the VE103, and the driver is responsible for obtaining the VE103 at his or her own cost.

Breakdown cover

Please check your company's vehicle policy to confirm whether it includes European Breakdown Cover. If it doesn’t, it is your responsibility to arrange Extended Breakdown Cover. This will provide protection in the event of an accident or breakdown while abroad and the repatriation of your vehicle back to the UK where necessary.

For some new vehicles, the manufacturer may provide European breakdown cover as part of the warranty. To check this for your vehicle, you can contact the manufacturer directly or your Driver Helpline.

Driving licence regulations

KINTO recommends that you check each country’s regulations regarding the issue of International Driving Licences and the carriage of safety items such as a spare bulb pack, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit.
